Fortune Shines Prayer Ceremony

A prayer ceremony was held o the 21st November at Sembawang God of Wealth Temple to mark the start of filming for Fortune Shines in Singapore.

The cast of the film, Mediacorp Campus Superstar 2 winner Shawn Toh, renowned veteran singer/actress Maggie Teng, popular young Mediacorp actor Nathaniel Ho, Mediacorp actress Belinda Lee and 883JIA FM DJ Youyi, director Dennis Wong and representatives from the co-producers were present at the prayer ceremony that was held earlier today.

Filming will commence, and principal photography will last approximately 2 weeks.

Fortune Shines is a collaboration by Scorpio East Pictures Pte Ltd, Illuxions Private Limited and Vividthree Productions Private Limited. The movie is slated for release on DVD/VCD formats in January 2008, before Chinese New Year.
