Award-winning director Anthony Minghella passed away this morning at the age of 54. He is best known for directing "The Talented Mr Ripley", "The English Patient", "Cold Mountain" and the recent "Breaking & Entering". We also learnt that sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke whose work inspired the classic Stanley Kubrick film 2001: A Space Odyssey, died early Wednesday at his home in Sri Lanka; he was 90. A sad goodbye to two talented men....
