Oscar-winning filmmaker and producer Sydney Pollack passed away today at the age of 73. The man is renowned for his directorial projects, "Out of Africa", "Tootsie", "The Firm" and also starred in movies such as "Eyes Wide Shut" and "Michael Clayton". In 2006, he shot a feature-length documentary about his friend, the renowned architect "Sketches of Frank Gehry". You can read more about Sydney Pollack in a tribute by LA Times.
