Rich, irresponsible, and hot-tempered, Han-gyeol (Gong Yoo) is not interested in the family business or attending the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. One day, he mistakes the brash, boyish-looking Eun-chan (Yoon Eun-hye) for a guy and hires her to pose as his boyfriend to scare off his blind dates! At his grandmother's prodding, Han-gyeol agrees to run a coffee shop “Coffee Prince” for three months, and ends up hiring Eun-chan as a barista. Mistaken to be a man, Eun-chan is happy working at “Coffee Prince”, developing a close friendship with Han-gyeol and his musician cousin Han-sung (Lee Seon-gyun).
