SHAW THEATRES GIVES ALL MOVIEGOERS THEIR OWN MOBILE TICKETING BOOTH

Shaw Theatres Pte Ltd introduced a new mobile movie ticketing site - m.shaw.sg - that is secure, fast and extremely user- friendly. It is compatible with most smartphones and mobile devices with a web browser feature, like Apple's iPhone and iPad, Blackberry and Android devices.

m.shaw.sg only needs a web browser to function, which is built into all smartphones. It was built from ground up to be cross platform compatible and as such does not require downloading as it is not an application. m.shaw.sg allows the actual purchasing of tickets and not reservation, thus eliminating the need and hassle of collecting tickets half an hour before a movie starts.

All customers have to do is bring along the credit card used for the transaction to the box office for the collection of their movie tickets, without a need to remember any transaction numbers. The site accepts a wide range of credit and debit cards such as Mastercard, Visa and Amex, making mobile payment secure and easy for everyone.

Still Dreaming?

Still can't get enough of Hans Zimmer's haunting score for the blockbuster Inception?

All you need to do is to visit InceptionScore.com and sign up with your email address. The kind folks will then direct you to a download of 2 previously unreleased tracks "Projections" and "Don't Think About Elephants".

What do we think of the sounds Zimmer has created for this mindblowing movie? Read about it here. The soundtrack album is available at all good music stores.

Dance Dance Revolution

While we continue to figure out why there is a surge of dance movies (in eye popping 3D, nonetheless) invading our cinemas recently, we leave you with what we think of the two soundtracks albums chockful of dance tunes.

Would you prefer to do the Street Dance or to Step Up (for the 3rd time)? You play the music, you dance, you decide. Both soundtracks are available at all good music stores.

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara to Star in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara have been cast in the lead roles of Columbia Pictures' three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson's literary blockbuster The Millennium Trilogy under the direction of David Fincher. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - the first film of the series, which also includes The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest begins shooting next month in Sweden. The screenplay is written by Steve Zaillian. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is set for worldwide release December 21, 2011. The Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson has been published in 44 countries and has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide thus far. In the U.S. alone, the series has sold over 10 million copies, and the sales were recently calculated at the remarkable rate of one book per second. Lisbeth Salander, Stieg Larsson's fierce pixie of a heroine, is one of the most original characters in a thriller to come along in a while - a gamin, Audrey Hepburn look-alike but with tattoos and piercings, the take-no-prisoners attitude of Lara Croft and the cool, unsentimental intellect of Mr. Spock. She is the vulnerable victim turned vigilante; a willfully antisocial girl . . . who has proved herself to be as incandescently proficient as any video game warrior." DAVID FINCHER most recently directed this fall's much-anticipated The Social Network for Columbia Pictures, which opens in the U.S. on October 1st and ROONEY MARA will also appear in The Social Network.

Evan Rachel Wood & Chris Evans Gucci Guilty

An almost unrecognisable True Blood actress Evan Rachel Wood and Captain America Chris Evans stars in the latest fragrance campaign for Gucci Guilty. Gucci Guilty is a 'patchouli-based mandarin-lilac' fragrance aimed at women who likes to take risks, not sit around and wait for things to happen. There's also a 60-second commercial directed by Frank Miller (Sin City, The Spirit) which is described as a sexy love tryst set against a futuristic cityscape filmed in cartoon aesthetic style. Sounds more exciting than The Spirit.
