"Cape No. 7" which grossed an estimated NT 60 million (SGD2.66 million) at the box office since its theatrical release is slated for release in Singapore at the end this year. "Cape No. 7" has been selected to represent Taiwan in the next Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. The movie stars Taiwan pop singer Van Fan and Chie Tanaka.
