THE MESSAGE which tells the story of a group of unsuspecting key officials that had a hand in the circulation of a staged encoded message receives a total of 6 nominations at the 2009 Golden Horse Film Awards including Best Leading Actress for both Zhou Xun and Li Bing Bing, Best Screenplay Adaption, Best Visual Effects, Best Art Direction and Best Makeup & Costume Design. THE MESSAGE rated NC-16 has collected $37 000 at the local box office as of 7th October. It is now showing exclusively at GV VivoCity, GV Plaza and GV Tampines.
