Asian Festival of 1st Films (AFFF): 30 November 2006 – 7 December 06

Singapore will yet again be the host country for the annual Asian Festival of 1^st Films. This festival celebrates the excellence of first-time producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, actors and documentary makers from the Asian diaspora.

Held in conjunction with the Asia Media Festival and Asian Media Market, the AFFF boasts eminent personalities from the global film industry who will be part of selection committee and jury to select the winning films and documentaries. Winning films have been selected and screened at the likes of Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals around the world.

Over the 10-day festival period, screenings will be shown at various Golden Village cinemas and the Arts House and will culminate into a glitzy, by-invite-only award ceremony graced by celebrities.
