GOLDEN VILLAGE PRESENTS ALL FIVE 2007 ACADEMY AWARDS® BEST MOTION PICTURE NOMINEES AT GV VIVOCITY CINEMA EUROPA

Golden Village is organising a special weekend with all five Academy Awards® Best Motion Picture Nominees at GV VivoCity Cinema Europa. From 23 till 25 February exclusively at GV VivoCity Cinema Europa patrons who buy tickets of three or more nominated films can enjoy a special promotion price of $8 per ticket for each film. Babel
Alejandro González Iñárritu directed this film of multiple fateful situations in different countries that are intertwined and affect lives of many. Starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Nominated in five other categories including Best Supporting Actress for Adriana Barazza and Rinko Kikuchi.

The Departed

The Martin Scorcese’s gangster epic details the entangled lives of two moles, one in the police force, the other one in the crime organization. Starring Leonardo di Caprio and Jack Nicholson. Nominated in four other categories including Best Supporting Actor for Mark Wahlberg.

Letters from Iwo Jima
Oscar® winner Clint Eastwood directed this dramatization of Battle of Iwo Jima as told from the Japanese point of view. Starring Ken Watanabe. Nominated in three other categories including Best Director for Clint Eastwood.

Little Miss Sunshine

Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris helmed this story of a dysfunctional family in their road trip to deliver their young daughter to a beauty pageant. Starring Steve Carell, Greg Kinnear and Toni Collete. Nominated in three other categories including Best Supporting Actor for Alan Larkin.

The Queen
Directed by Academy Award®-nominated Stephen Frears, the film features the fictionalized account of Queen Elizabeth II in the wake of Princess Diana’s death. Starring Helen Mirren. Nominated in five other categories including Best Actress for Helen Mirren.
