Toshiba Corporation today announced that it has undertaken a thorough review of its overall strategy for HD DVD and has decided it will no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders. The decision is now official following rumours that Toshiba is exiting the scene in recent weeks.
We are pretty sure consumers are eagerly awaiting for a reply from Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Animation who supported the format now that Blu-ray has won the high-definition war.
