A SINGLE MAN and MOTHER garnered four Spirit Awards nominations in Los Angeles. Festive Films and Cathay Keris Films are proud to announce that Tom Ford’s A SINGLE MAN will be contending in three major categories at the Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature, Best First Screenplay and Best Actor for Colin Firth (Best Actor, Venice Film Festival Sept’09).Following his crowd-pleasing, box office record-breaking monster movie The Host, in 2006, Bong Joon-ho’s MOTHER, starring Won-Bin and Kim Hye-ja will be contending in the formidable Best Foreign Language Film category.
The awards ceremony will take place on the night of Friday March 5, in the LA Live Campus in Downtown LA.
Both titles are slated for release in Singapore early 2010.
