CATHAY-KERIS FILMS AND ENCORE FILMS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR AWARE THROUGH SPIDER LILIES CHARITY GALA PREMIERE

Cathay-Keris Films and Encore Films, co-distributors of the movie SPIDER LILIES, will be raising funds for Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) through a charity gala premiere screening of the movie. AWARE is a non-profit organisation with the aim of promoting a society that provides optimal opportunities for women, and men, to realise their highest potential.

Leading actress Rainie Yang and director Zero Chou will grace this charity event on Tuesday 29 May 2007 9pm at The Cathay Cineplex (2 Handy Road). A total of 132 tickets will be on sale for this charity screening. Each ticket costs S$50 inclusive of a limited edition SPIDER LILIES poster with net proceeds benefiting AWARE.

The tickets will go on sale this Friday 18 May 2007 from 10am onwards, on a first-come-first-serve basis exclusively at Cathay Cineplexes box offices, Cathay ticketing website and Cathay movie line.

SPIDER LILIES opens in Singapore on 14 June 2007.
